DO NOT BUY! The worst part of this entire experience is being ignored!

I ordered two items from House of Chic LA. I thought two weeks before my birthday I would be able to get the items before the festivities. Nearly two weeks later Tawana the owner has not responded with an update. I have tried Instagram DM and E-mail.

I eventually made a report through PayPal and I am now awaiting them to refund me my money. It's a shame that such a seemingly beautiful person would ignore and do customers as she has done. I have attached "receipts" of my attempts to contact her through Instagram and E-mail.

Also, I know that on Instagram she has been active because she constantly posts and goes "live". It just seems she is not able to handle her business and doesn't have the common decency to inform customers.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $120.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

She did the same to me as well. I ordered an item and received an email advising that the item was out of stock and asked did I want a refund or credit.

I opted for a refund and waited for 2weeks and had yet to receive my money. I sent numerous emails, all without a response.

Thankfully, I used Paypal and was able to file a complaint through them and was finally able to get my money back. It's just awful to want to support a small business when they conduct themselves in this fashion.

She is conducting business the same way in 2019. The 1st time I attempted to order from her(2018), my money was taken, and after a month, still no merchandise.

So I filed a claim with PayPal and got my money back. Fast forward to April 2019, I placed a pre-order thinking that this would help....same results as my previous experience. I didn't receive any response to the email or DM sent, so I left a comment (which was deleted of course) under her post and that's when I received a response. Well I was informed that my order would be shipped out on Monday, checked the tracking details on Friday, and all she did was purchase a shipping sticker.

So I've filed another claim through PayPal.

This is so unprofessional! I'm telling everyone I know to NEVER patronize this business.
